The Intensive Summer Program provides an excellent introduction to acting fundamentals. Based on techniques developed and taught by Sanford Meisner, the Program will be split into two sessions.
Session 1 (Repetition Intensive) will focus on the principles of listening, attention, following instincts and truthful responses to the moment. It is a great refresher course both for actors who feel like they have gotten away from the principles they learned in drama school as well as beginning actors who are coming fresh to the work.
Session 2 (Scene Intensive) will focus on how to bring the principle of moment to moment work to a text. Students will receive a scene to work on (in English) and apply the situation and circumstances of the scene to the Repetition work. Students accepted into the Scene Intensive must be familiar with the Meisner technique and must receive approval from the instructor before being allowed to sign up for the course.
Repetition Intensive: July 24 – 28, 2017, 10:00 – 17:00 with 1 hour break
Language of instruction: English (Proficient knowledge of English recommended).
1 session: 3,000 Kč (2.700 with early bird discount!)
